Our Vision
Who We Are
C.R.E.W. stands for Christ-Centered (Galatians 2:20), Rightly Dividing (2 Timothy 2:15), Eternally Minded (Colossians 3:2), and Walking Worthy (Colossians 1:10). These four principles serve as the foundation of our student ministry and guide everything we do.
We believe the teenage years are some of the most influential years in a person's life. That's why our goal is to help students develop a faith that is personal, authentic, and firmly grounded in God's Word. Proverbs reminds us of the importance of training up the next generation, and we take that responsibility seriously.
Our desire is to see young men and women develop a genuine love for Christ, stand boldly for their faith, and live with an eternal perspective in a world that desperately needs the Gospel. We want to equip students not only to navigate the challenges of their teenage years but also to become lifelong followers of Christ who are prepared to impact their homes, schools, communities, and the world for His glory.

That our sons may be as plants grown up in their youth;
That our daughters may be as corner stones,
polished after the similitude of a palace.
Psalm 144:12

Every Wednesday night is designed to be engaging, encouraging, and centered on helping students take their next step in their faith.
- 7:00 PM Game Time – We kick off the night in the Lebanon Christian Academy gym with a variety of activities such as basketball, volleyball, kickball, soccer, and free play.
- Worship – After games, we head upstairs to the youth room for a time of worship and praise.
- Biblical Teaching – One of our youth leaders shares a practical devotional lesson designed to help students understand and apply God's Word to their everyday lives.
Meet the team.

Jon Beiler
Youth Leader
Jon Beiler and his wife, Chrissy, work together to minister to the students of Open Door Baptist Church. As Youth Leader, Jon leads many of the visible aspects of the ministry, including game nights, Bible lessons, fellowship events, and weekly gatherings. Behind the scenes, Chrissy plays an important role by investing in the lives of young ladies, offering encouragement and guidance. Together, they are passionate about helping students grow in their relationship with Christ, build lasting friendships, and navigate the challenges of life through a biblical perspective.
Ben Bateman

In addition to serving as the Pastoral Assistant at Open Door Baptist Church, Ben Bateman is also heavily involved in our Youth Ministry. Whether he's leading worship, teaching devotional lessons, counseling students, or bringing energy and excitement to game time, Ben is passionate about helping teenagers grow in their relationship with Christ. Through his leadership, encouragement, and genuine care for students, he strives to create an environment where young people can have fun, build friendships, and develop a faith that lasts a lifetime.
